Claudio Sibille is a Uruguayan industrial designer who founded Estudio Sibille in 2012, offering specialized furniture design services. His work explores the balance between refined aesthetics and industrial feasibility. Influenced by mid-century modern and Scandinavian design principles, his projects seek timelessness through clarity of form, proportion, and constructive logic rather than stylistic excess.
Years of hands-on collaboration with manufacturing partners in Brazil, China, and Uruguay have shaped a design approach where production realities are considered from the very first sketch. Each project aims to achieve visual appeal, structural intelligence, and economic viability — creating products that are not only expressive, but truly manufacturable and commercially sustainable.
His work has received international recognition, including the Gold A’ Design Award for the Ludovico Office system, and has been exhibited at major fairs such as Shanghai Furniture Fair, DesignJunction London, and High Design São Paulo. Claudio has collaborated with companies including Tok&Stok, Mobly, Westwing, Punto Mobile, Abracasa, and Driini.
The studio develops furniture both through bespoke collaborations and international licensing partnerships, focusing on designs capable of adapting across markets, production scales, and brand identities.
